GETTING STARTED

Welcome in, get comfortable, and grab a cuppa tea. You’re almost ready for class! This guide is here to help you have the best experience possible.

How can I register for a class?

Watch this step-by-step TUTORIAL VIDEO showing you how to book a class.

What do I need to get started?
  1. Download the ZOOM (Zoom Cloud Meeting) app on your iPhone/iPad, Android device or computer.
  2. When you’ve subscribed to a class, you’ll recieve an email confirmation. You can access the class by clicking on it in the online schedule. A pop-up will appear where you can ‘Join Livestream’.
  3. You can choose to already keep your audio and video off from the start or keep on. After we get settled in, the teacher will put everyone on mute so the noise in your space will not be heard. If you ever need anything during class, you can simply type in the chat box or unmute yourself.

It’s that simple!

How can I access my class?

Watch this VIDEO for a step-by-step guide to accessing your class.

Once you register for a class, you’ll recieve an email confirmation.

You can then access the class directly from the schedule. Please follow these instructions:

1. Go to the class schedule.

2. Click on your class.

3. A pop-up will open where you can simply click ‘Join Livestream’. This will automatically bring you into the class.

Do I need prior experience?

No, all levels are welcome. You will have the opportunity to deepen your practice and learn new postures regardless of where you’re at in your yoga journey.

You will however find some classes more challenging than others. The most important in every class is to listen to your body and needs. It isn’t a competition and there is nothing wrong with slowing down when you need to. You can even stay in child’s pose the enture class and there is absolutely no judgement!

What should I prepare?

This is your sacred time for you. While the minumum needed is a mat (or towel if you don’t have access to one), we recommend to create a more supported environment with the following:

  • a comfortable space where you will not be distracted
  • yoga mat, towel, and any other props that you find useful (blanket, blocks, strap, etc)
  • speaker or device to play music
  • light a candle, put a few drops of essential oil on the wrists & neck, or anything that helps you to feel at ease
Where can I find class playlists?

Some classes will play music however most do not. But we’ve you covered & prepared special playlists for you to use at your own preference. You can simply play this from a speaker at home during the class.

The teacher will be availble at least 10 minutes before class if you have any questions, would like to talk, or connect with the group.

Can the teacher see me?

This is completely up to you. You can choose whether to leave your camera on or off.We encourage everyone to put their camera on which allows for a deeper connection and feeling of accountability.

If you choose to leave it on, the teacher will be able to assist you further with verbal cues for your body.
